What a charming little number to start the week with! Northern Exposure was a fairly light and fun show about a small town in Alaska, and the opening scene featured a moose walking around town. The moose who played the moose was named Mort and belonged to Washington State University, and was lured around town by food. So, no harm to animals.
And guess who wrote this song? David Schwartz (of), writing his first TV theme song ever! He also scored every single episode of the series, which is pretty cool. I guess that’s kind of his thing, which I’m into. He was nominated for a Grammy for this song, and why doesn’t that happen anymore?
